This is a sacred symbol of the Mayan, Hopi & Tibetan people, representing the continuous cycle of birth, life and rebirth. We also see this sacred geometry in our galaxy, our DNA and the natural flow of the earth’s water and air.
Connect the fingertips of your right hand together. Keeping your wrists straight, curl your fingers, and bring your thumbs to the outside on the left.
Bring your left hand to your heart. Express an intention, then, with synchronized breath and tone, send loving energy from your heart, through your left hand, over your shoulder and into the galactic spiral of life.
Call in and cultivate this energy, with a counter clockwise vortex, synchronized breath & toning.
Move with the natural rhythms of the ocean, the wind, your heartbeat and unified breath. Swirl fluidly without force or resistance. Leave your ego behind and surrender to the unity of the one. Cultivate energy as long as desired.
Spiral the vortex energy clockwise or up and out, sending this love rippling out, around the planet, galaxy & all of existence.
Hunab Ku
2 people
A traditional prayer of the Yucatec Maya that means… “All hail to the harmony of mind and nature.”
Create a spiral with a partner. With eye contact say…“Ayum Hunab Ku” then look at the spiral and say…“Evamaya Emaho.”
In the HuMandala Workshop, this is shared with song and as a Dance of Universal Peace called the HunabKu Dance.
